Technical Specifications

BrightSolar is formulated specifically to clean and protect solar panels. It is not soap, which can leave a filmy residue that lowers output and draws dirt back to the glass. Unlike many glass-only cleaners, it contains no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as ammonia or nitrogen that can damage anti-reflective coatings, permanently reduce production, or void your warranty. It is not corrosive and is non-flammable — safe for panels, roofing, and wildlife.

Cleaning uses a patented, biodegradable, non-ionic surfactant and degreaser to lift dirt, grime, oil, bird droppings, tree sap, and more. You get a streak-free finish even with hard water from a garden hose — no distilled or softened water required.

Protection comes from a clear-coat blend of quaternized silicone polymer left on the glass after washing. It limits how easily dirt, oil, and droppings adhere, so panels stay cleaner longer and rain can help rinse debris away.

You would not wash your car with dish soap or aggressive glass cleaner; harsh products strip coatings and speed wear.
